Meet Aysiah: SportsYardTV’s New Content & Social Media Coordinator

SportsYardTV is proud to welcome Aysiah Maldonado to the team as our new Content & Social Media Coordinator. Aysiah brings both passion and hands-on experience in sports media, and she’s eager to help us elevate the way we tell stories that connect fans across communities.
A Passion for Storytelling Through Sports
When asked what excites her most about joining SportsYardTV, Aysiah shared:
“I am most excited about the opportunity to dive into the real-world, hands-on process of sports media production at SportsYardTV. The chance to not just learn, but actively contribute to bringing powerful narratives to life, from operating the camera to capturing authentic audio, is incredibly motivating. I'm particularly drawn to how visual storytelling can forge a deeper connection with fans and build a genuine community around the love of the game.”
Her vision aligns perfectly with our mission—creating content that isn’t just consumed, but truly felt. This mindset reflects exactly what SportsYardTV stands for—authentic voices, bold perspectives, and the culture of sports lived out loud.
Experience That Matches the Moment
Aysiah is a Sports Media major with a stellar academic record, including a 3.8 GPA and Dean’s List honors. She’s already proven her ability to thrive in high-pressure media environments:
Production Assistant at BroncVision (Rider Athletics): Operated cameras, graphics, replays, and audio for live NCAA Division I broadcasts on ESPN+ and GoBroncs.com.
Peer Counselor, Rider Educational Opportunity Program: Provided mentorship and academic support to first-year students, showcasing her leadership and communication skills.
Soccer Coach, Soccer Shots: Led youth development sessions, teaching teamwork and building trust with young athletes and families.
On campus, Aysiah has held leadership roles such as Vice President of Rider Latinas Unidas and Director of Sports Coordination, while also being actively involved in student organizations ranging from Delta Phi Epsilon sorority to Women in Action and Leadership.
Creative Skills That Translate to SportsYardTV
With technical skills in videography, photography, Canva, and social media management across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook, Aysiah is equipped to help SportsYardTV expand its digital presence while keeping content fresh, authentic, and community-driven.

Aysiah joins SportsYardTV at a pivotal time, as we continue to grow our media network and connect fans through original shows, live coverage, and interactive digital experiences. With her energy, creativity, and deep respect for the culture of sports, she represents exactly the type of young talent we want to empower and showcase.
